Art has always been a key outlet for expression throughout my life. With the help of my mother, art was introduced to me early in life and my work continues to evolve as I am increasingly exposed to new things. Sharing my God-given creativity with others is my objective and I truly hope it is something you can enjoy and leave feeling inspired.

Finds in the Panhandle of Florida, near Fort Walton Beach

While on a recent trip to Florida, I found treasures, with stories... (decor items I love to purchase for my home and gift use, and also help support small local antique and artists shops) here is a cast-iron decorated teapot, from the 20th century, used to boil water for traditional tea ceremonies. The kettle's cast-iron construction is said to change the quality of the water, making tea taste mellow and sweet. Made by pouring iron in clay or sand molds. I fell in love the color and the artist design, while visiting a favorite antique store, in Fort Walton, Florida. (Modern Antiques, NBSAntique@aol.com) It is one of the best....You have to meet the owner, he is a gem.

Another find was the Feb. 2017 grand opening for a Art Studio/Gallery, in Valparaiso, Fl. "Kind Design" Fine Art by Julia Vanover. She not only creates award winning paintings, and line- pen and ink drawings, but jewelry and more... She works in ceramics, and has recently been recognized by decorators, for her unique sculptural light sconces and lantern pieces. Each piece is a one of a kind... Some of her smaller floral/hook ceramic pieces I loved hanging from my pottery bowl.  Everything in her shop, she personally designed and made.. (Julia@kinddesignfineart.com) and the shop owner/artist is a delight.
